After China and Japan, photographer Alessandro Zanoni returns to Asia, to Vietnam to be precise, to observe Hanoi and its society in general. As a good night wanderer, he patiently develops his research through long exposures among the streets' pavements. Although it is still an ongoing project, we can already trace the author's respectful will to relate with the place and to linger on that process of renewal and liberation from history typical of the new generations. Alessandro Zanoni's almost cinematographic narrative is rich in anthropological colors and nuances. It moves beyond gross sensationalism to return a vision as lyrical as objective’’.
